The
season is over, well no not quite, your final duty is to vote for your
the second annual BUTT (Brussels United Theatre Technicians) awards to
recognise the best anglophone amateur theatre of this season (1
September 2008 to 30 June 2009) in Brussels and Antwerp. This year the ATC's productions were The Best Man (November), The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged) (January-February) and Riverside Drive (June).
Everyone
named in a programme this season is entitled to vote (ONCE!) in each
category. A full list of eligible voters is available here.
Voting closes on 7 July 2009 so you need to hurry up and decide: click here to vote.
The
gala awards ceremony will be held at Jim McKenna's garden (weather
permitting) in Sint Agatha Rode (approx. 10km from Brussels) on
Saturday, 11 July 2009, where the nominations will be announced and the
winners will receive one of the glorious "Buttie" awards (as pictured).

Dress code is anything from jeans to black tie. There will be a small
contribution to cover food. Bring you own bottle (champagne may be
appropriate). Further details, including the full address and
directions, will be sent when you reserve your place. Car-sharing
encouraged and facilitated
End-of-year BBQ
The annual ATC Barbecue will be held on Saturday, 4 July.
There will, as usual, be free food but we will be selling drinks.
The party starts at 5 p.m., on Christopher Flores' (hopefully) sunny patio,
at 71 rue Paul Michielsstraat in Jette.
