Auditions for Jan 2011 production

Our January 2011 Studio production will be a hilarious show-biz comedy "Anton in Show Business" by Jane Martin. This modern American play works on several levels and presents a challenging view of theatre, as seen from backstage. An all-female cast is struggling to produce Anton Chekhov's "The Three Sisters"

There are parts for 7 women, aged 20s to 40s. We are looking for native speakers, able to perform with an American accent. One part is specifically for a black actress.

Auditions will be held on September 19 and September 20 at 8pm at the Warehouse. Rehearsals will start mid-October. Performance dates are January 18-22 & 25-29. Kindly note the time change for our Sunday auditions as the 19th will be car-free until 7pm.

The ATC is pleased to announce its first production this season,

"All My Sons", a great American classic by Arthur Miller

OCTOBER 12 to 16, 2010 at 8pm

Bozar Studio theatre

While Joe Keller made a fortune during World War II, he is facing substantial
personal losses. One son, Larry, remains missing and another, Chris, is  lost
amongst his own thoughts about money, war and love. Meanwhile Mrs.  Keller is
consumed by the longing for her son Larry's return and battles to  cope with the
idea of Chris falling in love with his brother's girl.
 This classic Arthur Miller drama from 1947 examines the dissonance between
theAmerican Dream and the harsh realities of war and capitalism, a subject which
is particularly worth reconsidering in the context of the ongoing wars in
Afghanistan and Iraq.

The show, directed by Carrie Ellwanger, has an All-Star cast made up of both old
and new ATC members.

For each production (studio plays, mainstage productions and Café Theatre) a team is formed around a director and a producer, selected by the Board.
Actors are chosen on the basis of Auditions, called by the director and open to all.
Volunteers to help with production work and backstage crew should write to the info mailbox to be put in touch with our producers.
